The chess club promotes the instruction and/or training of our members in the game of chess, thereby improving or developing their higher order critical thinking capabilities.  Our club  pursues this purpose by directing, supervising, and regulating chess activities for its members.  We also promote the spirit of good sportsmanship and fair play in all chess contests and safeguard the physical, mental and moral welfare of all our members. We are affiliated with the United States Chess Federation (USCF) and the Florida Scholastic Chess League (FSCL).  We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 am.  For additional information please contact Mrs. Reading or Mr. Lowe the club's sponsors.
